Regardless of whether it was her name or qualities, Britney showed this week that she was bigger than How I Met Your Mother, helping the sitcom to score its best night ever with over 10 million viewers. It is rumored that this success got some CBS execs thinking about possibly launching a spinoff sratting Britney Spears. According to the National Enquirer:

“Britney did a great job playing the cute, funny receptionist, and really enjoyed herself. Doing a TV show will help Britney keep focused, plus keep her in Los Angeles, where she can see her kids regularly and create a positive work routine.”

Personally I think that Britney does well regardless of what show she is on. She even did great hosting SNL so I think it would do well…

Spoilers off Britney on How I met Your Mother keep leaking and it is unknown whether or not it is done on purpose or if someone got a hold of the entire episode. Only days after completing her How I Met Your Mother gig, Britney will be featured on another TV show, South Park. The episode likely to be aired this upcoming Wednesday (tomorrow) Britney joins South Park regulars Stan and Kyle take on a mission to get troubled Spears to the North Pole.

In a news release, a spokesman for the show says, “Britney Spears is trying to get away from it all in the mountains near South Park when the boys have a run-in with her.
“Stan and Kyle get caught up in Britney’s celebrity and the never-ending feeding frenzy that follows her wherever she goes.”

As Britney is returning to the “small screen” I recalled her last appearance on Will & Grace a couple of years ago (2006). Just in case you missed it here it is off YouTube:

Is Britney on her way to recovery? If we judge by the way things are looking she quite possibly on her way. Following a Friday dinner with Jason Trawick of William Morris, Britney was scheduled for a tv appearance on the sitcom HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

While details are still vague, sources reveal that filming would likely take place this week and the episode would air March 24th. The source also revealed that a “sit down rehearsal” took place on Monday (yesterday) afternoon.

This is one of the funniest Britney Spears video I’ve seen in a long time. Britney interviewed for French TV for the release of her movie CROSSROADS (ya, it’s been a while), and the reporter was a complete goof. He was so bad that she couldn’t even hold herself from laughing…
