Although the 2009 Teen Choice Awards will only air tonight (Monday, August 10th), the actual awards were held last night in Los Angeles. Britney Spears looked beautiful as she stood for photographers on, well, not a red carpet but a grass carpet!

Britney wore a sparkling black minidress and was looking beyond fit. With her hair back to blonde and her outfit, she almost looks like did seven years ago when she performed!

Since the news broke that Britney Spears will be appearing at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards (I’m still bummed that she’s not performing!) to accept an award, I thought that it would fun to celebrate this Friday Flashback with a look back at the year 2002 when Britney performed at the Teen Choice Awards.
Britney started off with Sometimes, then switched into Crazy.
It was fun to watch. Her Circus tour looks completely awesome but I still love the way she used to dance back then!

The nominations have been rolling in and Britney Spears has been nominated for three Teen Choice Awards! This is so exciting and proves how well Brit’s comeback efforts have gone!

Britney is up for Choice Music: Single – “Circus”, Choice Music: Female Singer, and Choice:Tour.

Following her Emmy nomination, announced earlier this month, Britney Spears added another nomination to her ever improving year. This time it is MTV’s Teen Choice Award (2008).
Nominations, which were announced yesterday place Britney in the Female Artist category along with Fergie, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna.
The neat thing about the Teen Choice is that there aren’t any judges but the fans themselves and regardless of your age you can go here and vote for Britney to help her win.

Well, what can I say. I just really am not a fan of K-Fed. All I could think was “BAD Vanilla Ice” and VI was bad already. Yikes. But, I am not particularly a fan of rap, so maybe its just me? Anyway, a VERY pregnant Britney (chomping on that gum again) showed up to introduce her hubby:
