While in Paris, Britney Spears made sure her sons got a traditional French tourism experience by taking them to the Eiffel tower. I’ll bet that made the day for other visitors - they got to see a Parisian monument AND Britney at the same time!

The kids are getting such a great experience because of the arrangement that Britney has with Kevin Federline. They get to spend a ton of time with each of their parents, and they’re getting to see some great stuff along the way. They might be too young to really appreciate it now but when they’re older they’ll probably be able to remember at least some of it and it might encourage them to travel as well.

According to reports, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have come to an agreement regarding shared custody, one which would allow each of them 50-50 time with the kids.

There will be a temporary agreement throughout the months of June, July, and August while Britney is on tour that will actually give her more than 50% custody, with both sides having submitted requests for the days the Federline boys would be with each parent.

Once Britney’s tour is over, the 50-50 custody agreement will go into effect.

I hope this is all accurate because while I think it was best for Sean and Jayden to be with Kevin full time when Britney was falling apart, she’s doing so much better now and they’ll likely thrive best if they can have equal time with both their parents.

During Britney Spears’ dress rehearsal in London, she ended up with two unexpected back-up dancers on site - Sean Preston and Jayden James showed off their own dance moves to some of Mom’s music!

I’d like to take a moment to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all my Britney Groupie readers, whether you’re a mother yourself or you’re celebrating with your own mom today.

Britney Spears went through some really rough times with her boys, but so much has changed over the past several months. I’ve been so happy to see her getting to spend more and more time with Jayden and Sean, and knowing they’re going on tour with her again puts a huge smile on my face. I hope Britney has a wonderful Mother’s Day with her two little men because after everything she’s gone through - and emerged from all the stronger - she definitely deserves it!

This is excellent news! Britney Spears is going to be able to bring her sons to Europe when she starts the next leg of her Circus tour!

OK magazine’s exclusive tells us that Kevin Federline’s lawyer has stated that there is absolutely no problem with Jayden and Sean joining Britney in Europe and that Kevin is “more than happy to help facilitate Britney being able to see the boys on the European leg of the tour.”

I’m so glad that Kevin’s willing to work with Britney this way and is avoiding making her choose between her work and her babies. It seems to have worked out really well so far with Jayden and Sean hanging out with their mom on the North American tour, and I’ve loved reading her Twitter updates whenever she’s mentioned that she’s been spending time with her little guys.

The new issue of OK goes on sale on Thursday this week and inside they detail all the precise living arrangements that have allowed Jayden and Sean to keep to their usual schedules and routines without having to sacrifice their time with Britney.

It’s nice to know that Kevin Federline isn’t such a bad guy despite what the tabloids said!

Britney Spears may be really busy with her tour now that it’s under way but that doesn’t mean she’s too busy for her sons! She spaced her concerts out well enough to make time for the important things - and people - in life too.

Britney took Jayden and Sean to Disney World Orlando before heading out to her Miami show, making sure that if her boys were following her tour that they got to have plenty of fun while they were at it. They enjoyed some special time together at Fantasyland over the weekend.

Not only did Britney make time for her own kids, she also set aside enough time to hang out with 40 kids at the Miami Children’s Hospital. The visit was a surprise to the sick children and Brit also made a large donation to the hospital’s Apple Circus Clown Care Program, an organization that provides medically trained clowns to visit with the kids.

Whew! Yesterday there was some major concern as to whether Britney Spears would cancel her upcoming Circus tour if her sons Jayden and Sean couldn’t be with her, an arrangement that Britney had made with Kevin Federline.

As I had said, it didn’t make any sense for Kevin’s lawyers to complain and try to stop the arrangement. Luckily it doesn’t appear to be an issue because Britney’s website immediately put up a new post about the stage design, and nonchalantly reassured fans that the tour is still a go:

Britney is so excited to kick off her tour. She has been enjoying every moment of rehearsals and is looking forward to performing in front of a live audience again. Both Sean Preston and Jayden James will, in fact, be joining Britney throughout the duration of her tour. The Circus kicks off in New Orleans on March 3rd.

What a relief! I’m so happy to hear that everything is still going as planned.

If you’ve purchased tickets for one of the upcoming Britney Spears concerts, you may end up having to get a refund. At the moment there are apparent legal complications that may lead Britney to flat-out cancel the tour - every single show. The issue? Her two sons, Jayden and Sean.

According to TMZ, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, along with Brit’s father, Jamie Spears, made an agreement that Jayden James and Sean Preston would accompany her on her tour. They wouldn’t be coming to all her shows, of course, but they would remain in one of three central locations which would allow Britney to travel quickly back and forth between shows and her boys. The three temporary homes would be located in New Jersey, Los Angeles, and New Orleans.

On top of that, TMZ reports:

And here’s a fun fact. We’ve learned Britney will pay Kevin in excess of $4,000 a week for each week she’s on tour. The way the deal goes… Brit would get K-Fed his own pad in each of the three bases and he wouldn’t even have to show up to get the money!

Here is the part that I don’t understand - this all comes across as very reasonable. The boys will still see their mother and father as frequently as they do now and they would be in homes, not traveling the country in a tour bus. They don’t lose their mom for weeks or months at a time. And both parents came to a solid and comfortable agreement.

Yet the lawyers who represent Kevin are flipping out over the work that was done behind their backs and are against the entire arrangement. Not only are they trying to prevent the deal, they’re hinting at a custody upheaval. TMZ says:

By the way, Britney now has close to 50/50 custody and the trio has also worked out a long-term agreement, which would extend the arrangement. That too, could be compromised.

Perhaps I’m not legally aware enough, but I don’t get it. Kevin hired the lawyers to work for him, not the other way around. If this is what he wants and it works out well for everyone, then why do they get a say in this at all?

In the meantime, keep your fingers crossed that this will all work itself out because one thing is certain - Britney Spears sounds determined to cancel the entire tour if her boys can’t join her. As a fan, I think it would be disappointing. As a mother, I don’t blame her one bit.

Britney Spears had a whirlwind tour of Japan, but as of yesterday she is back home in the United States. Over on Twitter (follow her!), she stated, “as much as I loved Japan, I am so happy to be home with my babies.” No doubt!

You can tell in that photo of Britney picking up Sean and Jayden from preschool - I swear she’s glowing in happiness, I love it!

Taking a break from the intensity of the past few days, Britney Spears took Sean Preston and Jayden James shopping at FAO Schwarz to browse the toys. They were accompanied by grandparents Jamie and Lynn Spears.

The whole shopping trip lasted about an hour and a half (wow!) but Britney disappeared after about ten minutes. It was thought that she ducked out a different door to escape from the watchful eyes of the ever-present paparazzi so that she could enjoy a bit of New York City with some friends while the boys had some grandparent time.
