Restraining Order Against Sam Dropped
July 31, 2008 by Gilad
Along with the renewal of Britney’s conservatorship in court today, there was an interesting discussion of whether or not Brit’s restraining order against Sam Lutfi would be renewed as well. Well this renewal did not happen mainly because the court thinks that Britney’s much stronger and that Jaime can now fully protect her from him.
Britney’s court appointed attorney said to AP today: “During the temporary conservatorship, the conservators have the power to insure that Lutfi will not harm Britney anymore.”
Sam recently announced that he still believes Britney misses him and that they should be together in no time. What do you think? Will Scum Sam be back?
Sam Lutfi Hopes to Get Back in Britney’s Life
July 23, 2008 by Gilad

As team Britney is preparing to head to court and fight for the renewal of his restraining order (July 31st), Sam Lutfi, the man who wrecked managed Britney Spears‘ career before her breakdown is opening up about “life after the restraining order.”
A source for In Touch Weekly magazine said: “Sam believes that he and Britney are still friends. If the restraining order is lifted, he’ll be back in her life for sure.”
According to the source, Sam still denies all claims made by Britney’s mom, Lynne, that he provided her with drugs and controlled her medications.
The source added: “Sam insists it will come out that the restraining order was against the wrong guy. So lifting the order would give him the chance to protect Britney from the vultures out there.”
The restraining order will be discussed in an upcoming July 31st hearing and it looks like Sam is quite sure he will be “off the hook.”

Court: Jamie Yay - Sam Nay
April 17, 2008 by Gilad
Do you remember that guy, Sam Lutfi, who used Britney and her volunerability? Well, this Sam guy can now start packing his shit as he is not going to see Britney at least until July 31st.
In a short seating yesterday the court decided to extend Sam’s restraining order (with his acceptance) until July 31st. That is the same date that Jamie’s conservatorship is set to expire as well.
This decision is thumbs up to Jamie’s work with getting Britney better, and a recognition of the court that Sam is only trouble and better not be around. According to PEOPLE such restraining order can be extended for as long as 5 years so Sam better get a real job as his lifeline here seems to have ended. I hear there is a very talented yet very troubled singer in England, may want to check with her if she needs a manager.
UPDATE: TMZ had obtained a copy of the court documents from yesterday’s hearing. Check them out here.
Jamie Wins Sam’s Britney’s Appeal
March 24, 2008 by Gilad
So back when Britney was only released from the UCLA psych ward and we were introduced to the term “conservatorship”, Britney had allegedly contacted an estranged attorney to represent her in fighting her this conservatorship. Later on we learned about about Sam’s tied to this attorney and about his wish to gain control of Britney although her phenomenal improvement in the past month.
Anyways, the case was discussed in court and in a statement released today, Sam Jon Eardley(the attorney) was told to piss off… In fact based on the court’s response I must question the competence of this guy as conservatorship, according to the court, cannot even be appealed!
According to the court’s comments the case is “hereby dismissed as being taken from a nonappealable order.“
Sam to Fight Restraining Order
Rumor has it that Sam Lutfi is determined to fight the restraining order to which he agreed to last week.
Earlier this week we reported that following a short conversation with the conservators Sam agreed to renew the restraining order for another month. Sam had, reportedly, said that it would be good for noth him and Britney, but apparently had a change of mind and is now going to fight it.
Sam “Restrained” for 30 More Days
March 16, 2008 by Gilad
Poor Sam. He had it all planned. Hired an attorney, a publicist and planted the “seed” that Britney’s conservatorship is unconstitutional (or whatever he made up). But then came a meeting with the conservator (Brit’s dad) and his attorney and suddenly, Sam agrees to cancel his appeal and extend his own restraining order?!?
Damn, that is one of those time one wishes to be a fly on the wall. I can imagine the conservator being straight up and Sam sweatin’ in his seat. Furthermore, we’re told that Lutfi believes the restraining order extension is a good thing for both him and Brit.
I really enjoyed hearing this one. How about you?
Sam Served (till March 17th)
Sam Lutfi was served with the restraining order last night at his apartment complex in Culver City but it didn’t take much before his attorney found an error and tried to set him free.
According to sources the 48 hour restraining order re-issued earlier this week was expired when served and Sam’s attorney headed to court today to challenge the restraining order calling “illegal”. Well, the court knows exactly whats up and the amount of hours team Britney spent on finding him (over 300 hours) and not only ruled it legal but extended it for almost a month, until March 17th.
So it is official, by law, Sam must stay a minimum of 250 yard from Britney (not sure about phone and such). In addition, TMZ confirms that LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division is investigating Sam for allegedly drugging Brit.
Jamie Conservatorship Extended
February 14, 2008 by Gilad
Following a court session earlier this afternoon, the judge ruled to extend Jamie Spears’ Conservatorship for another 4 weeks (March 10th) when the court will meet again.
According to the original court papers:
“Immediate access to the trust’s liquid assets is necessary to pay for Britney’s security, and to pay for her medicine, food, other day-to-day expenses, and for psychiatric and other essential medical services,” the papers said.
In addition, Jaime’s attorney added that following 200 hours of searches, Sam Lutfi was still not served with the temporary restraining order. and that he asked the court for a renewal which was approved.
“We have made great effort to have Mr. Lutfi served,” said Cohen. “We staked out his residence at the hospital. We did many things we do not want to discuss right now. We have information he is intentionally avoiding service.”

Sam Lutfi Update - He’s an Ass
February 9, 2008 by Gilad
Sam has been ‘away’ from Britney for quite sometime now, and as the disconnection lifeline is slowly (but surely) becoming more and more permanent, Sam is trying to change his image to the world. What he doesn’t understand is that this is simple business, If your client (or their conservator) do not want you, poof, you’re gone! That’s it!
Anyways, here is some media bits and pieces about Sam from the last couple of days:
Sam hires a publicist - Damage control? too late buddy. Sam hires Michael Sands, formerly Mark Vincent’s publicist media consultant. In his first statement Sands starts with Sam does not get paid by Britney and that her actual manager is Howard Grossman. Withing the same breath, he adds “What’s the problem here? Guy trying to make a buck managing Britney Spears.” [video]
Sam has not been ’served’ - It appears as if Sam has been dodging being served with the restraining order so technically he can claim that he ‘didn’t know’ about it and contact Britney. Which based on his crookness level I wouldn’t be surprised if he did…
Will police file charges against Sam? - According to sources, the LA Police Department is deeply concerned with Lynn’s about Sam Lutfi and they are looking to possibly press charges. This is a developing case and updates will be posted as they arrive.
Did Sam Forced Britney to Write a Book?
February 8, 2008 by Gilad
Well, he already admitted to giving Britney a “handful of drugs” just she “she feels better”, and now we hear via the ROLLING STONE that Sam may have forced Britney to write a book. Well not exactly, in her off hours (and in between the pills he gave her) Sam stuck a mic in Britney’s face and made her tell it all…
“We’ve been doing dictation, she’s been telling me her story, and I’ve been writing it all down. It would make a great book!”
It is too clear that this crook was taking advantage of this poor girl who just wanted some love, but at what point that such relationships become illegal?!?
