The Internet has been whirling with the rumor that Britney Spears was ready to tie the knot again but People.com has issued a statement that despite the stories, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are NOT engaged right now.

This shouldn’t be much of a surprise since the rumors started with Star magazine - a known tabloid - spreading the word that the newly public couple was ready to take to the aisle and marry.

While I would be thrilled to see Britney get married again - this time to the right guy! - I’m also happy for her to take her time. She’s known Jason for a long time and if the time is right, it will happen, but just because they’re happy together and enjoying each other’s company it doesn’t mean the tabloids all need to jump to wedding conclusions!

Fans have been speculating for months now, but it’s finally been officially confirmed to People.com - Britney Spears is dating her agent, Jason Trawick.

After the end of her marriage to Kevin Federline, her strange and unhealthy relationship with Adnan Ghalib, and the legal frenzy that came about after her business relationship with Sam Lufti, it would seem that finally - finally! - Britney’s family approves!

“Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that happened to her. [...] He makes Britney really happy, and he’s great with the boys.”

Although Britney’s rep had no official comment, People is usually careful about their sources, so here’s hoping this one doesn’t turn out to be yet another false rumor.

Britney’s life is back on track professionally, and she’s getting her act together. Better yet, she’s been able to spend so much time with her sons. I love seeing Britney happy, and would love so much if she’s found someone special to make her smile - she deserves it!

The rumors that Britney Spears is pregnant never seem to die down. Any photo that shows the slightest hint of a belly gets the stories spinning again. Now, the latest story is going to have people assuming she’s pregnant again.

Supposedly, Britney has been having trouble keeping up with the intense dance routines - because she’s allegedly dizzy and nauseous, particularly when she performs a hardcore move that involves two of her dancers hanging from the ceiling while holding her, spinning, upside down.

According to sources:

“She spins around for nearly five minutes some nights. The blood rushes to her head and when she gets down she complains of nausea and dizziness. There have been a couple of times when she ran off stage and vomited.”

Now, personally I would assume that spinning upside down for five minutes at a time would pretty much make ANYONE nauseous and dizzy. I can’t even spin around while standing up on the ground without getting dizzy.

But because this is Britney Spears, though, you can guarantee people will be screaming pregnancy any second now. It doesn’t help that rumors are still swirling as to whether or not there’s a romance going on between Britney and her back-up dancer, Chase Benz, because everyone has a would-be-father to pin it on too!

I don’t think Britney is pregnant, to be honest. Are you in the pregnant or not pregnant camp?

Here we go again. Everyone just loves to have Britney Spears hooking up with guys. We have the backup dancer rumor, and now Star magazine is claiming that Britney was caught in bed with Kevin Federline - by his current girlfriend, Victoria Prince, no less.

Brit and Kevin can’t keep their hands off each other!” exclaims a family insider. “The flings have made them both a lot happier.”

Please. This is STAR we’re talking about. They’re about as reputable as the fortune teller at a county fair. I’m pretty sure that Britney is busy enough with her sons and her tour that she doesn’t need to desperately fill the hours with a ship that has already sailed. I think that tabloid writers must be the same people who write soap operas, what with all the drama and sex and girlfriends exposing affairs.

Besides, we all know that Jamie Spears is keeping close enough tabs on everything that a) Britney probably can’t even sleep with a teddy bear without permission, let alone a man and b) the “family insider” would have been sued and then slapped with a restraining order AND a gag order.

Rumors have been swirling for days now, that Britney Spears has been hooking up with 21-year-old backup dancer Chase Benz (pictured above) while on tour. There hasn’t been anything official yet and the Britney camp is keeping mum about it, but that’s all I keep hearing about lately.

Chase has a slight resemblance to Britney’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, which means that he would fall into her “type” of man, physically speaking.

If it’s true - and I have no way to confirm it yet - I say go for it! He may be young, but with all we keep hearing about the “cougar” phenomenon with women dating younger men, there’s definitely nothing wrong with that! Besides, if she’s busy working her butt off on her Circus tour, where else is she supposed to meet a nice guy? And if Kevin has moved on and started dating, why shouldn’t Britney get the same chance?

However, I do wonder what Mr. Jamie Spears and all his conservatorship rules thinks about it!

According to this source, Britney Spears has been receiving death threats while on tour. There are also reportedly threats of a kidnapping plot against her sons Jayden James and Sean Preston which have been keeping her up at night - and if it’s true, I don’t blame her because that’s terrifying!

From Look magazine in the UK:

“Britney received some anonymous death threats over the phone and in the mail, and her worst fear is a kidnap plot against Sean or Jayden. She’s been having terrible nightmares ever since then and she wakes up in the middle of the night crying out for her boys.

“She told her head of security and he thinks it’s a lone stalker. Her paranoia has reached fever pitch and she’s wracked with fear.”

I don’t know too much about valid news sources vs. tabloids in the UK so I don’t know how much of a grain of salt you need when reading that. There are constant stories made up about celebrities to sell magazines, so it’s hard to tell. I really do hope that this is just a gossipy rumor and that there’s no fact behind it, because who needs that kind of stress? I also hope that Britney won’t have to cancel her tour because of threats!

Remember when Britney Spears joined Madonna on stage during Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour?

According to In Touch Weekly, it looks like the favor may be returned because word is out that Madonna may make an appearance during Britney’s tour as well! The rumor is that Madonna will join Brit on stage at some point during her March 23rd show in New York City. According to Britney’s stylist the act will be a mash-up of “Get Together” and “Trouble”.

Madonna was spotted at Britney’s show in New York earlier in the tour as well.

You can bet I’ll be scouring YouTube for video footage if Madonna hops up on stage with Britney!

Britney Spears has been rumored to have been gearing up to write an autobiography in the past but nothing much ever came of it. Now, once again the word is that she’s making plans to write a tell-all book that will lay out the story of her whirlwind life.

The autobiography will allegedly include details from Britney’s own personal diary and will cover not only the exciting highs of her life, but the low points too.

If the stories are true, then Britney has made a $14 million deal with a literary agency for the book even though she won’t get started on it until her tour has been completed.

Maybe she’s decided to give it another shot now that her mom Lynn Spears has put out her own tell-all book. While that one tells some of the Britney story, it’s from a mother’s point of view so perhaps Britney is eager to tell her own story as the one who actually lived through it.

I’ve been reading a lot of rumors about the possibility of a reunion on stage between Britney Spears and Madonna on Brit’s upcoming tour. I haven’t been able to pin down any kind of solid, reputable source just yet, but I’ll keep my eyes open and let you know!

However, an “unknown source” did speak about the possibility, saying that after Britney joined Madonna on stage in Los Angeles during Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour, Madonna may in turn get her chance to play a part in the “Circus” tour:

“Choreographers have been asked to create an out-of-this-world dance routine for Britney and Madonna… This is going to be a high energy dance routine - getting back to what they are both good at, performing.”

If this is true - and that’s a big IF - I don’t expect that it will be a major commitment for Madonna. After all, Madonna is a huge and long-term pop success, it’s certainly not as though she needs to follow Britney Spears around on her tour, you know?

If this does indeed all come together, I think it will be a one-night deal. There will probably be some sort of extra song and dance number at one of the performances in a random city (perhaps Los Angeles again?), Madonna will do a performance with Britney, and that will be it.

Meanwhile, speaking of the Circus tour, Britney was spotted (above) going into Alley Cat Studios in Hollywood, California where auditions for the tour were being held. It’s getting closer and closer!

It’s been confirmed that Britney Spears is set to perform at the Z100’s Jingle Ball 2008 held December 12th in New York.

Britney Spoke to Z100 earlier this morning and when asked about the performance rumors she said ‘Yes, I Will be there with a KILLER performance!’

While the official site states that official lineup will be announced on Friday at 5PM, we hear that performances by Katy Perry, David Archuleta, Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis, Chris Brown and many others have been rumored to appear.
