August 29, 2008 by Gilad

Britney has been spending long hours at the studio recently trying to wrap up her album for a rumored early 2009 release and while her team has been successful at avoiding any leaks about the contents of this album, music producer Rodney Jenkins released a short statement on what we should expect.

Talking of the new album, Jenkins said: “I’ve always worked with Britney and I love working with her. I’m trying to reinvent her and reinvent myself for her project, and stuff we did for her is very dancy, really uptempo. In the clubs, real aggressive, and catchy. Very hook friendly.”

Jenkins is a legendary music producer who’s previously worked on hits for the likes of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston.

For what it’s worth, a source close to music producer, Fernando Garibay, opened up about the song “Amnesia” off Britney’s upcoming album. The insider told BreathHeavy.com: “If it really goes on the final album, I bet it’ll be a smash hit! It’s kind of Britney fighting with a voice inside her, and damn… it’s a huge fight, with an aggressive and uptime instrumental. And be ready, Brit is screaming in the studio.”

The source went further and released some of the song’s lyrics: “It’s kinda amnesia / (baby, just forget it) / what you save only weighs you / and all I want is to be free / (to fly higher than ever) / so baby get out of my way / (I ain’t still the same) now you are in my freaking game / and it’s hotter than ever / (it’s kinda amnesia)”

Fernando Garibay, is a confirmed producer for Britney’s upcoming album and according to his website he is working on both “Quicksand” & “Amnesia” with Britney Spears.

Apparently someone started a rumor in the last couple of days that the talks have ended and that Britney is out. However, Parker set everyone straight when telling PAGESIX “The rumors of Britney Spears not staring in the movie are false,” said Parker and added “We still are in negotiations and the possibility of Britney still being in the movie remains the same.”
