PETA who is notorious for bashing Britney is changing their ways and would like to join the Britney “lovers” side. Following Britney’s successful appearance on HIMYM, PETA made the call to Brit and offered her to be their receptionist for a day.

PETA is hoping Brit will experience first hand the problems they deal with and hopefully change what they say are her anti-animal ways. Oh and, yes, PETA does intend on paying Britney for the service as much as $1000 which she will donate to a charity.

PETA, the organization which was on Britney’s arse for a while about the pet abuse allegations, has turned around and is trying to help Britney in getting better.

In a recent letter to Britney’s mom, Peta president Ingrid Newkirk wrote:

“We have heard that Britney asked for ice-cream while she was in the hospital. There could, in fact, be a connection between her diet and her mental-health problems.

“Numerous reports indicate that in bipolar patients who have hidden dairy sensitivities (a fairly common condition), the disorder can worsen if the patient consumes dairy products.”

The organization suggested that Britney stops eating meat because medical research has shown there is a link between eating meat and the development of mental illness schizophrenia:

Sound to me like another PETA investigation is ready to open up. While at PETCO yesterday, Britney picked up 2 new gold fish and there are already rumors out of how she treats them bad… (WTF?)

SPLASH reports today that while Brit was told to keep the fish in a large space, she insisted on putting them in the small bowl which she bought. As described by a PETCO employee “We warned her about [it] and I would not be surprised if they (the goldfish) were both dead in the morning.”
