Was Today’s Agreement was a Win-Win-Win Situation?

July 18, 2008 by Gilad

Not too many people were surprised by today’s custody agreement between Britney spears and Kevin Federline. In fact, it is the results that the situation should have been judged by and while it was a win-win-win situation, only one party seemed to have cared about the actual victims, the couple’s boys.

Why Britney Won?
Well, Britney won because her visitation rights that were on trial for the past month or so are now formalized and must be obeyed by Kevin.

Why KFed Won?
Well KFed wanted to increase his child support payments so now, that he has less time with the kids he will have $5K more to play.

Why Mark Kaplan Won?
Unlike Britney’s legal team, Kaplan made sure to make himself “highly available” to the media and his personal “win” today was a court grant that Britney will pay his fees in full. That is $250,000 that he wasn’t going to get from Kevin’s ass otherwise.

Now, you be the judge. Who really cared about the kids? Who cared about the $$? And knowing the results, would you approve this agreement or help the side who cared about the kids?

So it wasn’t a joke after all…

In a ceremony held at Prive nightclub in Las Vegas Friday night, Kevin Federline was awarded the annual ‘Father of the Year award.

KFed, hit up the club with a group of male pals along with divorce attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan — just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning. When asked how he felt about the title, KFed said “I’m surprised.”

PS. Britney did not make it to the party and stayed at the Palms with her dad.

Last week I posted that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are rumored to be having phone-sex at night and while I highly doubted this rumor we’re hearing today that Britney and Kevin are getting closed and a rumor they would again star together on a TV show! Mark Kaplan, KFed’s attorney, appeared on the Today show this morning and addressed some of these rumors.

On Britney’s behavior:
Kaplan highlighted the “improvement” in Britney’s condition and added that due to this “improvement” she was able to spend full days, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on both May 8th and Mother’s Day with her sons.

K-Fed Depo-ed

March 8, 2008 by Gilad

Team Britney is launching their own offensive triggered by Mark Kaplan’s request that Britney will pay his legal fees of 5 months which are over half-a-million-dollars!!!

Last week we learned that Michael Sands, former publicist for Kaplan was depo-ed and now we learn KFed was depo-ed last Monday and Kaplan himself on Tuesday.

Britney’s attorney, Stacy Phillips, plans on challenging this request in court this coming Monday. After all, Britney has nothing, no custody, and can barely see the kids so do you think she should pay for K-Fed fees?

What do you think?

Britney’s Depo “Going Slow”

January 25, 2008 by Gilad

mark kaplanBritney depo which held a second session a few days back is “going on slow”. This is according to KFed’s attorney Mark Kaplan who hinted that depo may drag on for multiple sessions. In fact, when asked if it may last more than 5 sessions, Kaplan said “It wouldn’t surprise me. There are many areas that I have not yet explored.” Kaplan mentioned that the first two sessions, in which Britney must answer all questions under oath, covered as much as 2% of his intended questions so this may give us an idea of how long this may take.
