Remember when Britney Spears joined Madonna on stage during Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet tour?

According to In Touch Weekly, it looks like the favor may be returned because word is out that Madonna may make an appearance during Britney’s tour as well! The rumor is that Madonna will join Brit on stage at some point during her March 23rd show in New York City. According to Britney’s stylist the act will be a mash-up of “Get Together” and “Trouble”.

Madonna was spotted at Britney’s show in New York earlier in the tour as well.

You can bet I’ll be scouring YouTube for video footage if Madonna hops up on stage with Britney!

I’ve been reading a lot of rumors about the possibility of a reunion on stage between Britney Spears and Madonna on Brit’s upcoming tour. I haven’t been able to pin down any kind of solid, reputable source just yet, but I’ll keep my eyes open and let you know!

However, an “unknown source” did speak about the possibility, saying that after Britney joined Madonna on stage in Los Angeles during Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour, Madonna may in turn get her chance to play a part in the “Circus” tour:

“Choreographers have been asked to create an out-of-this-world dance routine for Britney and Madonna… This is going to be a high energy dance routine - getting back to what they are both good at, performing.”

If this is true - and that’s a big IF - I don’t expect that it will be a major commitment for Madonna. After all, Madonna is a huge and long-term pop success, it’s certainly not as though she needs to follow Britney Spears around on her tour, you know?

If this does indeed all come together, I think it will be a one-night deal. There will probably be some sort of extra song and dance number at one of the performances in a random city (perhaps Los Angeles again?), Madonna will do a performance with Britney, and that will be it.

Meanwhile, speaking of the Circus tour, Britney was spotted (above) going into Alley Cat Studios in Hollywood, California where auditions for the tour were being held. It’s getting closer and closer!

Madonna’s Sweet & Sticky tour was launched yesterday with a huge concert at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales earlier today (Saturday, Aug 23) and the cameo piece with Britney Spears was aired for the first time during the 2008 version of her song Human Nature.

The video features Britney while stuck in an elevator while she is whispering “express yourself, don’t repress yourself” finally the doors open and she says “It’s Britney Bitch”.

After she got Britney Spears to film a video cameo piece for her upcoming Sticky & Sweet Tour word has it that Madonna would like to see Britney and Justin Timberlake performing together on it!

“Madonna is always trying to raise the bar and Britney and Timberlake on the same stage would be perfect,” a blabbing spy gushed to The Sun on Thursday.

“They have both been asked but I think both are a bit reluctant. Britney would find it all a bit emotional and JT might not fancy it….More likely is that they both appear on different dates.”

“But if anyone can make this happen it’s Madonna.”

As we reported over the weekend, E! got an exclusive view of the video Britney Spears filmed for Madonna’s tour.

E! described the scene:

Britney, partially disguised by a gray hoodie, walks into the elevator. As she starts traveling upward, she seems particularly nervous and anxious. The popster starts pacing back and forth. Then she progresses to kicking and smacking the walls, all frantic-like. She screams into one of the cameras. Then she starts climbing the wall, pulls down her hood and, into another camera, says:”It’s Britney, bitch.”

About the video, a source recently told E! “The video will be very deep, You’ve never seen Britney like this before. It will blow your mind.”

Britney Spears finished filming the video piece for Madonna’s tour yesterday which included an entire day at the studio (Madonna was not present). This piece sounds exciting and it looks as if even Britney took the time to prepare and look her best.

Britney spent 4 hours getting her hair (& extensions) done and looked phenomenal!

On the video itself, the British Daily Mail says “it is an absolutely classic Madonna. Probably the raunchiest stuff she has ever done. It leaves nothing to the imagination and will be very controversial.”

“Britney and Madonna are unwrapped like mummies, to appear together almost naked apart from tiny leather bondage pants and knee-high boots…They then dance closely together, pressing their hands and bodies together.”

“There will be big rows over whether it is sexy, shocking or both.”

If everything goes to shit, now we know that Britney can make a buck being a dance teacher. Brit gave her first class yesterday to a group of 4-9 year olds at the Millennium Dance Studios and made a dream come true to a few kids (& their parents).

Brit arrived at Millennium, a favorite refuge of hers, around 6 p.m. PT on Monday, hidden from the paparazzi. She was greeted by a group of eight children ages 4-9 — and certainly more than a few star-struck parents. An eyewitness tells OK! that Britney went up to each child and asked them their name and whether they liked Madonna, because that was the song they would be dancing to this evening.[SOURCE]

The kids, aged 4 to 97, were selected from the studio’s junior program. “The parents gave their permission, and they were thrilled. One parent summed it up: ‘It’s a once in a lifetime event.’”

Contrary to what I posted this morning, a source close to Britney said that Britney and Justin had no plans of producing anything together and that between his own work and producing for Madonna, Justing doesn’t even have time to “squeeze Britney in.”

US MAGAZINE posted this afternoon that “There have been absolutely no plans for Britney and Justin to record a duet together. “There have been lots of discussions about who Britney is working with and Justin has not been one of them. Nothing with Justin was ever even discussed. Justin has had no time to do it between planning his HBO special, his own Video Music Award stuff and working with Madonna anyway.”
