Oh, Britney. It never ends, does it?

Britney Spears and her parents are all being sued by ex-manager Sam Lufti for libel and defamation. It would appear it’s in direct retaliation for the restraining order that was granted to the Spears family.

At the moment there’s no mention of how much money he’s seeking for his troubles. In his lawsuit, he does still insist that he always acted in Britney’s best interests. Meanwhile, the Spears family still stands by their claims that Lufti did everything he could to control her, with Lynne Spears even accusing him of drugging her through her food.

A great deal of the lawsuit seems to revolve around things that were written in Lynne’s tell-all book, Through the Storm. According to The Huffington Post:

He claims the Spears’ actions have caused him to suffer “humiliation, mental anguish and emotional and physical distress.” Lutfi’s lawsuit also claims he has received death threats and “has been subjected to unfathomable amounts of ridicule and public scorn.”

Lutfi is also seeking unspecified damages based on an oral contract he claims he and Britney Spears forged in 2007. The suit states the agreement called for him to serve as Spear’s manager for four years and receive 15 percent of her earnings. He claims the singer confirmed the contract in a text message.

This is unbelievable. No matter how hard Britney Spears keeps working to turn her life around for the better, drama keeps following her everywhere she goes. There are always people who will kick you when you’re down and then fight to get some of your success when you get back up.

Security Officer Covering the Hill Behind Britney’s Home

With Jamie Lynn Spears and baby Maddie in the house Britney did not take any chances and increased security around the house. Britney hired a security firm to watch the hills around her house as well as dogs for the fence and more. However, it seems as if paps have found their way to snap some pics of Lynne and baby Maddie (here) while Britney and Jamie Lynne spent some quality time at the neighborhood Blockbuster.

That’s a bit odd… Considering all the attention Britney gets when she only sticks her nose out of her house, I was surprised that Britney, Jamie, Lynn and the boys hit up the Calabasas public pool along with some friends.

Pool looked empty to me. Can you really get a “reservation” for a private even at a public pool? I didn’t know.

This is some “juicy” stuff, too bad it is the National Enquirer who released it…

According to the tabloid, Lynne Spears was involved in a fatal car accident back when she was 20 (in 1975). The tabloid claims that while driving her brother to the hospital, Lynne Spears hit and killed a 12-year-old boy on a bicycle. The accident happened in her hometown of Kentwood, Lousiana.

A source close to the Spears family told the newspaper, “To this day, Lynne hasn’t gotten over what she did. She gets that terrified look in her eye when she is thinking about it. She has told only a few people about the accident and always says, ‘Please don’t think I’m a bad person.’”

A representative for Spears told the National Enquirer, “It bothers Lynne still to this day. She really doesn’t like to talk about it. She just wanted to forget that it ever happened - but she can’t.” [via]

I love this story… Remember the report that Jamie Lynn Spears left the hospital yesterday afternoon in a car driven by Casey Aldridge? Well that was just to confuse the enemy…

While the media was flooded with rumors that Jamie Lynn will not go home after the birth everyone expected her to go to Serenity. Well their car did go to Serenity but Jamie Lynn was not in the car…

OK reports today:

Many reporters and photographers fell victim to a well-choreograped ruse, which had Casey and Lynne drive back to Serenity with a Jamie Lynn look-alike in the back of the car, thus allowing mom and daughter to make their exit in private, driven separately by private security guards and escorted by state troopers back to their home in Liberty.

Good job guys!

While Jamie Lynn Spears is going to be at the hospital for several days, others have been coming and going all day and it appears as if the excitement makes them not be able to sit still. Here’s an update about a few family members:

Casey Aldridge (aka baby daddy):
Casey came through and has been by Jamie Lynn since the birth. Recent rumors had it that the two have been fighting non-stop and that Jamie Lynne had called off the wedding but as of right now he is doing the right thing.

Lynn Spears (aka grandma):
Lynn has been in and out of the hospital all day. Not sure why. Here she is arriving at the hospital in one of those times:

Britney Spears (aka auntie):
Britney stopped by this morning and left a little while later. She hasn’t been back. Here is a video of Britney around Kentwood.

Britney Spears’ mother, AKA Lynne Spears, apparently blames herself for everything that’s happened to her daughter in the past year. In a recent interview to US Magazine, Lynne said “For everything that’s gone wrong for Britney, I blame myself.

“I didn’t raise my children to have Hollywood careers. This all just exploded in my face, and big dreams became big headaches.”

Lynne also revealed she is slowly repairing her broken relationship with Britney saying “We have reunited. We are friends.”

Lynne, who is currently working on a revealing book about parenthood, says the tome will have a spiritual side.

She explained: “I am working on a parenting book that is going to have faith elements to it.”

While some of us thought that Britney and her mom had reached terms last week, X17 released an ‘insider comment’ saying that Britney may be seeking a restraining order against her mom, Lynne Spears.

According to the site, “Britney’s visit to her attorney’s office yesterday may have been part of Spears’ research into filing a restraining order against her own mother, to keep Grandma away from Jayden and Sean!”

Wow, this is huge, wonder what happened. Getting a restraining order against your own mother? Is Lynne that crazy? What do you think?

Not even two days following Lynne Spears visit to Britney’s house and she already captures the front page of this week’s US Magazine. While the issue itself is not yet out, bits and pieces have been published today on several sites.

Lynne sounds very empathic about her daughter’s situation, saying “You go into a time in your life with the world watching and you are just trying to figure yourself out, it’s sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another.”

On Britney’s recent new resolution for life, Lynne said “She decided that she had to cut out everyone who was using her, and that included her parents.”

Lastly, Lynne said “Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children, she’s just figuring things out.”
