Yesterday we confirmed that Britney Spears was booked for another episode of HIMYM and later on yesterday (around 8:30 am) Britney already headed out to the Fox Studios for rehearsals.

PETA who is notorious for bashing Britney is changing their ways and would like to join the Britney “lovers” side. Following Britney’s successful appearance on HIMYM, PETA made the call to Brit and offered her to be their receptionist for a day.

PETA is hoping Brit will experience first hand the problems they deal with and hopefully change what they say are her anti-animal ways. Oh and, yes, PETA does intend on paying Britney for the service as much as $1000 which she will donate to a charity.

Regardless of whether it was her name or qualities, Britney showed this week that she was bigger than How I Met Your Mother, helping the sitcom to score its best night ever with over 10 million viewers. It is rumored that this success got some CBS execs thinking about possibly launching a spinoff sratting Britney Spears. According to the National Enquirer:

“Britney did a great job playing the cute, funny receptionist, and really enjoyed herself. Doing a TV show will help Britney keep focused, plus keep her in Los Angeles, where she can see her kids regularly and create a positive work routine.”

Personally I think that Britney does well regardless of what show she is on. She even did great hosting SNL so I think it would do well…

Spoilers off Britney on How I met Your Mother keep leaking and it is unknown whether or not it is done on purpose or if someone got a hold of the entire episode. Check out this clip in which Abbi (Britney) is working as a receptionist at the dermatological office and receives a visit from Ted, the guy she is falling in love with.

The preview for “Britney’s episode” was aired for the first time on Entertainment Tonight. The preview closes with “next episode” so I would assume it would air next week but more importantly, I think that Britney looks really good on this preview, Probably better than we’ve seen her in a very long time.

Britney Spears is on the cover of a weekly magazine and it has nothing to do with something bad she did! In fact, Britney appears on the cover of TVGuide along with Josh Radnor with whom she is having a short fling on an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother.

The headline reads “Inside Britney’s Comeback,” and adds “What Really Happened on the Set of How I Met Your Mother.”
