More of Britney and Maddona (Video)

November 7, 2008 by Gilad

In addition to the wealth of videos we posted in the past 24 hours, I just found another one a bit clearer, posted by the folks at SplashNews earlier. I am still not clear as to the extent of Britney’s involvement in the concert. There were rumors of Gimme More being performed but it looks as if it is was only rumors given the fact that all videos include basically the same content. Anyone knows more? Please feel free to post.

Update: Okay, final word is here… Donna, who attended the concert is telling me that there wasn’t really any performance. Britney hit the stage for the end of the song, Madge spun her around, kissed her hand and sent her off… Even the “It’s Britney B@$$ch” was pre-recorded…

Madonna Performs at Dodger Stadium

Britney Spears joined Maddona on stage yesterday during her concert at Dodgers stadium in front of 50,000 screaming fans. Here she is going on stage for the first time with the crowd going ballistic as they see her, almost as if they cannot believe she really made it.

The concert was packed with celebs, from J.Lo, Kate Moss, Heidi Klum, Amanda Bynes, Dennis Quaid, Cheryl Tieg and even J.T. (who joined Madge on stage).

Check out the video of “Human Nature”, Britney comes on at about 2:20 mins into it (photos here):

Britney Spears Joins Maddona on Stage (Video)

November 7, 2008 by Gilad

What seems yesterday as another wild dream of a crazy blogger turned into reality as Britney Spears joined Maddona on stage tonight at the opening of her US tour in Los Angeles. Britney joined Maddona for the song “Die Another Day” and “Gimme More”. Here is a glimpse of what it looked like.

Note: This looks like a cell phone recording and is in a very low quality. Hopefully better ones will be up by the morning.

Update: It gets even better:

Britney Spears in Broadway?

October 6, 2008 by Gilad

Will part of Britney Spears comeback include a lead role in a Broadway musical? According to sources it may very well be.

According to sources Britney’s recent visit to New York and attending The Heights was more about just promoting her single Womanizer. “She is, reportedly, on the look out for the right fit to announce her stage debut,” sources tell the New York Daily News.

In the past few months the notion of Britney’s comeback through a Broadway role was mentioned more than once. Even KFed was said to have had such talks so I would be careful planning the next trip to New York…

Sneak Peak to “Womanizer”

September 20, 2008 by Gilad

Britney Spears’ new song Womenizer is set to be released on Monday and Team Britney released leaked a special sneak-peak rough remix for the upcoming song. The song was briefly posted on the Web site of Nashville radio station 107.5-FM The River before being taken down but that was long enough for people to grab it and post to YouTube:

Via to MTV News:

According to Britney’s label, the station obtained the snippet by recording a phone call in which a radio rep played a rough mix of the song for people at the station — which seems likely, judging by the horrendous sound quality of the clip. At the label’s request, the station removed the clip from its Web site.

Fans won’t have to wait long for the song’s official release, which takes place on Monday. The album follows on December 2, Britney’s birthday.

Stay tuned for the song’s release Monday at local radio stations as well as Britney.com.

Britney Comeback? Not in Las Vegas

May 30, 2008 by Gilad

While there are more and more rumors of a possible Britney Spears comeback she is not going to do so in Las Vegas.

The rumor of a possible nightly spot in a famous Las Vegas venue started after Britney’s dinner meeting with George Maloof, owner of the Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. However, Larry Rudolph clarified today that there have never been talks of such show.

Rudolph told the LVRJ, “She’s not here (in Las Vegas) and she’s not coming in. I wouldn’t lie to you.
