According to TMZ.com, Britney Spears has gotten her conservators to have a restraining order placed against Sam Lufti and Adnan Ghalib.

TMZ is stating that Britney wanted the restraining order to “protect her from Sam and Adnan” and that she fears for her own safety.

It would seem there was some sort of a conspiracy mounted in an attempt to harm Britney by undermining her conservatorship - I’m not even sure what that means, exactly. Had they been successful, what would that have meant for Britney?

Those two are unbelievable. They were there to use her and take advantage of her when she was rich but down. Now she’s a success again, doing really well, and ready to embark upon a huge tour and they crawl back out of the woodwork - together! - to try to tear her back down again.

There really are some disturbing people out there!

Following the mistrial and the judge decided to dismiss the case and say goodbye to parties…

Apparently, prosecutors got to the realization that pulling this even longer is only going to look bad but mentioned that they were “troubled by outside impressions that were brought into the courtroom” and decided not re-file the charge against her. They added that they feel as if Brit’s “celeb” status worked for her advantage and that she could have avoided trial altogether had she agreed to the $3,000 fine offered to her.

Personally I think that Brit’s “celeb” status is the only reason she was sent to court on the first time. A normal person would have gotten a small fine along with a proof that they got a local license. But, hey, justice was made… Right?

Earlier, Gilad posted about Britney Spears telling OK! how she got her great body back. While I was poking around the Internet, I found one mom in a total fury, saying that Brit’s a bad example for her children and that instead of worrying about her appearance, she should only have one thing at the top of her to-do list - to get her kids back.

I doubt very much her two children care if Mama’s got a six-pack–they do care, however, if she’s drinking a six-pack. Britney has many other issues to work on rather than her weight. Here’s a flashback–wasn’t she just recently committed? Any chance an article’s in the works entitled “How Britney Got Her Sanity Back”? Just sayin’.

Well, you know what? I’m a mother too, but I have to disagree. I think Britney actually is indeed setting a good example for her kids. This time last year? No, definitely not. But do you know what she’s teaching her boys right now? She’s teaching them that everyone is human, everyone makes mistakes, and most importantly - when you do make mistakes, you get up, you dust yourself off, and then you take a deep breath and try to change things.

This woman obviously doesn’t follow Britney as closely as she pretends, because Britney actually did get more custody rights not too long ago, and it’s subject to change over time. There’s a good possibility that Britney and Kevin Federline will get joint custody on a 50-50 level if things continue the way they are now, with her being back on track.

No, slimming down is not more important than her kids. But we have to remember, Britney Spears is a celebrity and in celeb-land, how you look is as important as what you do, unfortunate as that may be. The other thing this woman needs to consider is this: When you feel like your life is out of control, sometimes you just have to control the one or two things that you still can. She can’t control the custody right now - that’s up to the judge on the case. But she felt like she can control her diet, so that’s what she’s doing, as well as focusing on a musical comeback. Sometimes when you get control of something, it helps other things fall into place.

I think she makes a far better example by trying her hardest to get herself back together than she would if she crawled off into a cave and felt sorry for herself.

As team Britney is preparing to head to court and fight for the renewal of his restraining order (July 31st), Sam Lutfi, the man who wrecked managed Britney Spears‘ career before her breakdown is opening up about “life after the restraining order.”

A source for In Touch Weekly magazine said: “Sam believes that he and Britney are still friends. If the restraining order is lifted, he’ll be back in her life for sure.”

According to the source, Sam still denies all claims made by Britney’s mom, Lynne, that he provided her with drugs and controlled her medications.

The source added: “Sam insists it will come out that the restraining order was against the wrong guy. So lifting the order would give him the chance to protect Britney from the vultures out there.”

The restraining order will be discussed in an upcoming July 31st hearing and it looks like Sam is quite sure he will be “off the hook.”

While Britney’s situation keeps improving every day now, rumor has it that Ne-Yo is no longer going to be waiting for Britney and will pass all materials for the Pussycat Dolls.

OK! reports that Ne-Yo had written several songs for Britney but has decided to give them to the female group. Are you kidding me?!?

“We set up multiple sessions where she was supposed to actually come in and give her input on the songs, but she never showed up” - Ne Yo told the British newspaper “The Guardian”.

Edwin W. Merino, a 30 y/o photographer from Los Angeles was arrested Tuesday in Liberty, Mississippi for allegedly stalking Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge.

Merino was arrested in a gas station and claims to have been using a telephoto from 200 feet away from the couple but authorities thought differently.

In a statement to AP, Merino said that he had little luck and that he was going to leave the area. “I’ve seen the young man Casey in pictures,” Merino said. “I haven’t worked on them myself. The first time I got a good look at him was in court.”

He added that “The one picture I got was kind of by luck. I got lucky when I saw them at Wal-Mart when I was buying deodorant.”

Guess it only takes one picture to be considered a stalker, doesn’t it?

Merino has been a Britney Spears stalker photog for the past 4 years. He was one of the ‘lucky’ photogs who got a good shot of Britney’s famous no-undies crotch set (don’t ask which one…)

In light of the recent rumors about a possible Britney Spears - Adnan Ghalib sex tape many people have been wondering what happened with the crook.

One reporter was able to get a hold of him and got to exchange a few words with him. According to Ghalib, he has been receiving death threats and on one occasion was even physically attacked, he said “Yes, I was injured by an attacker. This is still being investigated.”

When asked about a possible sex tape he said “I have had many calls about it from all over the world…In light of the constant calls about the sex tape and threats, I’m taking a break from the industry and keeping a low profile.”

Ashlee Simpson apparently has some hatred towards Britney Spears and we didn’t even know it…

In an interview to the British show Nokia Green Room Simpson recalled being asked a question about having “too many Britney Spears” (which is slang for too many beers). Simpson laughed and responded by saying she hadn’t had too many “trashy girls.”

Do you remember that guy, Sam Lutfi, who used Britney and her volunerability? Well, this Sam guy can now start packing his shit as he is not going to see Britney at least until July 31st.

In a short seating yesterday the court decided to extend Sam’s restraining order (with his acceptance) until July 31st. That is the same date that Jamie’s conservatorship is set to expire as well.

This decision is thumbs up to Jamie’s work with getting Britney better, and a recognition of the court that Sam is only trouble and better not be around. According to PEOPLE such restraining order can be extended for as long as 5 years so Sam better get a real job as his lifeline here seems to have ended. I hear there is a very talented yet very troubled singer in England, may want to check with her if she needs a manager.

As Britney seems to be doing better by the day, tabloids seem to be hating more and more in an attempt to shake her up. However, Jamie is doing one hell of a job keeping this all together (for now) and all hate covers look more and more like the National Enquirer more than anything.
