Funniest Britney Spears cover ever – John & Edward on X-Factor

I don’t watch X-Factor but I hear about it regularly and I’ve caught clips on YouTube when people have directed me to specific performances. Two contestants – twin brothers from Dublin – named John and Edward did a cover of Britney Spears’ “Oops I Did It Again” and I have to tell you, I laughed hard enough to cry, especially when they even did the speaking part from the video.
The brothers dressed in red pleather suits and they sang and danced in homage to Britney Spears. The singing was, uh, not good. And it was completely cheesy as well. After the performance, Simon Cowell said, “What the bloody hell was that?!” and confirmed it was the worst performance he has ever had to sit through in all the years of doing the show. However, he also compared it to the first time he watched the movie The Exorcist, saying that he didn’t like it but wanted to see it again.
Here’s hoping John and Edward do better in their other performances because Britney Spears music is not a good move for them!
