Britney Spears’ new single “3″ gets air play

Britney Spears’ new single “3″ has begun playing on the radio as of this morning. The song comes from her compilation album which features all her singles over the years with a couple of brand new tunes as well.

Of course, with the song just being released there’s no official video for it yet, but folks this is the Internet. You can find almost anything on YouTube within ten minutes these days. Check out Britney’s new single:

The song is essentially about threesomes, so it looks like Britney is continuing with the naughty innuendo in her music, keeping up with the semi-hidden message in “If U Seek Amy”. If you read the lyrics, it’s a pretty sassy song overall – full lyrics below the cut!

My initial reaction was that I wasn’t all that crazy about “3″ to be honest. However, I’ve listened to it a few more times and I think it’s growing on me a bit – it’s definitely catchy, there’s no denying that. I didn’t really care for “If U Seek Amy” at first and I was even a bit lukewarm when “Womanizer” was first released and I ended up loving both of them so sometimes it just takes some time and a few listens before I start enjoying a song.
