Spring Time Christmas for Britney Spears (video)

People all over the Internet are having a good laugh over what may have been a flub that Britney Spears made during the song “Do Somethin’” while in Washington, DC last night.
Despite the fact that it’s March, Britney wished the DC crowd a “Merry Christmas”. If you check out the video below, it happens 50 seconds in.
You know, I think a lot of people just don’t give Britney enough credit. I don’t believe she said it because she’s crazy, nor do I think she got confused due to a lack of (or too much of) some sort of medication.
Honestly, I think it was just a spur of the moment silly joke. I’ve been known to say “Merry Christmas” in a sarcastic way even if we’re nowhere near the holiday.
I’m pretty sure Britney is very much aware that it’s March, and not Christmas no matter what people online might say. I’m sure the entertainment shows will have a field day with this one!

I was at that concert!! It was fantastic!! I think she said it as a joke..when she said it, she didn’t act like it was a mistake or anything and I don’t think she’s truly crazy or anything! (at least not anymore)
I have taken a beating from family and friends that enjoy believing any conjecture or claim made on Internet sites. Britney is NO wacko or loser or drug dependent soul that is incoherent of reality. My joy in following her is being attacked as silly, foolish, and undefineable. It’s not cool.. I can’t wait til this is clarified !
