Wait for Britney’s “Womanizer”

Fans were anticipating today, September 22nd, for the release of “Womanizer”, Britney Spears’ first single off her new album. However, it looks like we’re going to have to wait just a bit longer. Apparently the studio isn’t going to drop the single until next week now. In the meantime, we’ll have to settle for the 40-second leaked clip of “Womanizer”.
(Britney’s people are all over YouTube, clamping down on it, but that link leads to a straight mp3 file so you can still hear it for now, though it’s low quality.)
The basic explanation is that they want to do a bit more re-mixing on the song to really get it fine tuned and perfect. Hopefully it will be on schedule for next week with no further delays. In the meantime, the album release date for “Circus” still stands at December 2nd.
