Britney Spears hit up the Big Apple to officially promote her new single Womanizer and has been seen all around town in the past 2 days. From Z100 radio station to SoHo and last night even watched The Heights (musical).

With her new album, “Circus” ready to drop in December of this year, we can now also apparently expect Britney Spears to tour in 2009 to promote the album. If it all goes as planned, this international tour will be Brit’s first since 2004. It should be pretty spectacular, and I hope she’ll come out my way so I can go see her!

Britney Spears was caught on video by X17online as she hit up New York City’s Serendipity 3 restaurant for some food. According to X17, they have some killer frozen hot chocolate (oh YUM) as well as an ice cream sundae that apparently costs $1000. A thousand bucks? For a sundae? Seriously?

I wonder if Britney decided to try it!

Here we go again. Just like in the past, paparazzi slime Adnan Ghalib is once again claiming that he can confirm he has a sex tape that he made with Britney Spears back when they were hooking up in the height of her downward spiral. He apparently told Heat magazine: “I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical inquiries. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further.”

Allegedly, the sex tape - if it indeed exists - is about two hours long, features Britney wearing nothing but her infamous pink wig and a smile, and was shot in Mexico.

What a totally awesome and classy guy, this Adnan. Not only does he take advantage of someone who was having an utter breakdown and films a sex tape with her, he hangs on until she’s on the verge of her big comeback and decides to milk her returning popularity for all it’s worth.

What a pig! Do you think he’s lying or does he really have a Britney sex tape?

Britney Spears may not have performed live on MTV’s VMAs this year, but MTV still loves the (finally!) VMA-winning singer. Although we’ve all had a chance to hear Britney’s new single “Womanizer”, the new single will get its official television debut thanks to MTV as well.

“Womanizer” will be featured on MTV on Monday, September 29th, on a new episode of the hit show “The Hills”.

I wonder if Lauren Conrad requested it - I could picture her getting her groove on to Britney!

The long awaited Britney Spears “Womanizer” single is out and sounds great! Very upbeat… Got me “hooked” on the first time listening to it.

Britney Spears’ upcoming single “Womanizer” which has been postponed until (maybe) tomorrow now has a video on the way and Britney has been spending the last few days in the studio filming it.

In the video, Britney will be switching between 3 different wigs and according to an eyewitness, it features plenty of “erotic” choreography. According to USMagazine.com:

In one scene, Spears (who wears tight, black leather pants and fake tattoos on her arms in the video) lies on a kitchen counter and later straddles and makes out with a man dressed in business suit.

The scene continues with Spears sucking on cherries or dangling them around her mouth, all while straddling and crawling all over the man, the witness says.

Britney also did not seem phased by the long hours and hard work. “She seems to be all business,” the witness said. “She’d just do one thing after another and then on to the next.”

If you happen to have $7.9 million weighing your bank account down and don’t know what to do with it, you can buy yourself a celebrity mansion - Britney Spears has put her Studio City mansion on the market.

The home has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, and is described by the realtor as “exquisite gated Italian Renaissance-inspired villa,” and it’s belonged to Brit for less than two years.

The sale comes about by choice from Britney’s father, Jamie Spears who got court permission to sell the house. Maybe it’s to give her a fresh start away from the bad memories of what went down there earlier this year when she barricaded herself inside with her sons and was forcibly removed for hospitalization. On the other hand, People has a source saying that the primary motivation is to find Britney a new home with more privacy from ever-invasive paparazzi, and more space for her sons to run around.

Don’t expect Britney to follow Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s move to France for the privacy though - allegedly she’s been looking at a place about an hour outside of Los Angeles.

Wow. WOW. Have you seen the new promotional images for Britney Spears’ new single, “Womanizer” yet? Check them out! I think they’re pretty obviously digitally manipulated because she’s nice and fit in real life and looks much thinner in the photos, but she looks amazing anyway - and she looks like the old Britney again, which I love. I like that they used the snake in the promo pictures, it’s a reminder of her “Slave 4 U” performance at the VMAs back in 2001.
