Is This Really Britney’s Voice? Need Your Help
Check out this video I found earlier today. It features clips off Britney Spears’ Las Vegas special DVD with a terrible voice singing in the background. The publisher claims that Britney lipsynched the entire show and that the voice is actually her in the mic.
It does sound like her voice but can be very easy to fake. What do you think? Is this really Britney?

Hi GILAD ! in my viewpoint this all a trick played ,but not well done as it so clear that there is no balance between the quite performance and the the accompanied voice recorded through the DVD. I do think that the voice seems to be emerged out from someone who is watching the entire show through his mixed mic. that one is not clever enough to make us believe him. that one is helped by a helpless and a stupid technical soun engineer either on purpose or not. GILAD ! no comment.

I think it’s possible. I don’t think she necessarily sounds like that in the studio. I’ve heard a lot of people freaking out and saying she’s terrible but I think they don’t realize how hard it is to sing well while you’re also dancing around as much as Britney does.

i agree with sherry…she has to lip sync cuz as a busy performer its hard & when youre in front of a huge crowd its nerve wreaking for 1 and 2 nobody…i mean nobody i dont care who you are can sing while doing all those moves…you really can’t expect somone like britney spears, the pussycat dolls or christina aguilera to be studio cd ready and dance as much as these girls…you get totally out of breathe…i mean god look at britney shes amazing…her body, her moves, and best of all, her performances. most all performers have to have his or her record/cd playing while their performing…so yeah this was her singing live….no recording…she was out of breathe and it sounded a lil bad & you obviously heard that from your confused question..but it was like one of her first concerts and later down the line her mangers and people who work for her noticed that britney couldnt sing as awsome as in her studio cd recordings AND dance…so thats when they decided to play her record while was on stage. so yes that was miss britneyt jean spears…&she is my inspiration. I LOVE HER. she keeps me craving my the stage…britney spears:best damn pop star princess next (no better no worse love them equally) to christina aguilera.

I guess that my only question is why even keep the mic going? I mean, yes, she does speak to the crowd in between but the notion of this getting into the wrong hands (and it clearly did) would make me force the production to shut down the mic during the songs.
But then again, this was filmed about 4-5 years ago when the Internet was more “innocent” so maybe they underestimated what might happen.

sure sounds like her, and she does always lipsync.
but arent people there to see a show?? be entertained visually and dont really care if she does lip sync, i hear that is why cyndi lauper declined her after she offered her to do her tour with her, cyndi said no lipsyncing and britney cound not do it without so she never toured with cindy

I believe it’s real but it doesn’t bother me, i don’t like britney for her voice i like her as a all round entertainer! not because she stands in one spot of the stage and screams til she shits her pants like christina and mariah
