Britney Has Dinner-Date with Mel Gibson
Looks like business dinners on Saturday have become a standard and after closing with an agent last weekend, Britney went on another business dinner with Mel Gibson at Romanov Russian restaurant in Studio City.
“It was exciting to have both of them here together,” says one restaurant source to PEOPLE. “We heard they hit it off and that Britney seemed excited.”
Upon leaving the restaurant Britney “looked happy,” says the observer, “so it seems the meeting was a success.”
It is unclear as to what this meeting was about but X17 reminds us that back in 2006 Gibson had shown his compassion to Brit and his wish to help her. “I feel compassion for someone like Britney, for instance. She never gets a moment. She’s, like, dogged all the time and followed and she’s trying to have a life. Your heart goes out to her because I’m positive that, at her core, she’s a good woman.“
