After 5 days of being MIA, Britney made a public appearance as she made a pit stop at Carl’s Jr. Britney and her father Jamie went out yesterday afternoon for a Dodgers game and the pitstop was on their way back home.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Pit stop, fast food this sounds waaaay too familiar and it seems as if Britney pulled this pit stop just to catch a glimpse of photogs who have been “starving” for some fresh Britney material.

Either way, Britney looked great! The hair, the outfit and the smile…

Jamie Lynn and a friend drove 80 miles this week to Baton Rouge, LA in order to register for setting up the baby registry at Toys R Us. Jamie Lynn, sporting her new rock and wearing a shirt that says “The rumors are true” mentioned expected “arrival time” of 07/10/2008.

Regardless of whether it was her name or qualities, Britney showed this week that she was bigger than How I Met Your Mother, helping the sitcom to score its best night ever with over 10 million viewers. It is rumored that this success got some CBS execs thinking about possibly launching a spinoff sratting Britney Spears. According to the National Enquirer:

“Britney did a great job playing the cute, funny receptionist, and really enjoyed herself. Doing a TV show will help Britney keep focused, plus keep her in Los Angeles, where she can see her kids regularly and create a positive work routine.”

Personally I think that Britney does well regardless of what show she is on. She even did great hosting SNL so I think it would do well…

Earlier I posted about Britney’s MIA since Wednesday afternoon and now we hear that Britney is rumored to have a guest appearance on the Kids Choice Awards tomorrow night (March 29th).

“It’s supposed to be top secret, but everyone is already buzzing about it,” the source says. “Her sister, Jamie Lynn, made such a splash at the event last year, Brit knows that she’ll get as much, if not more, attention if she shows up this year.”

Officials at the Kids’ Choice Awards didn’t deny the rumors. Said one: “The show is always full of surprises… You never know who’ll show up.”

We know that Britney has been practicing new moves lately at a new studio so can the two be linked?
