What a perfect timing for the scandalist called Dr. Phil. The guy was scheduled for an appearance on The View and got the mic to say all he wanted. Phil said that all he did during Britney’s first lock-up was “start a low-key dialogue that might make her open to seeking help,” and admitted that in retrospect it was a mistake…

On Britney’s last night’s events and the second hospitalication, Phil said “If that starts [her] on the road to intervention,” he said, “then that is a good thing.”

Britney is now officially admitted for a minimum of 72 hours as a 5150 order was approved by a local Judge earlier today. The 5150 was issued by Britney’s new psychiatrist, Deborah Nadel, who was arranged for her by her attorney’s. TMZ reports that Britney’s parents have been in touch with LAPD to arrange for such psychiatric care for Britney and it appears as if the joint effort had finally shown some progress.

According to facility officials, Britney’s evaluation may be extended as needed to as long as 14 days.

While some report that Sam has not been allowed on the premises, Sam himself has a whole different story to tell as to what went down. X17 posted Sam’s story of what happened. Sam painted a whole different picture than what’s reported… According to him, he was next to Britney and gave the docs her recent medical history because they refused to speak to Lynn… Do you believe this guy?!?

After an alleged suicide attempt Britney was taken early this morning to UCLA’s Medical Center for an evaluation.

The ambulance convoy included a large van, 2 undercover cars and as many as 15 motorcycle cops (boring night at Malibu PD?). It was followed by Lynn and Jamie (Britney’s parents) as well as Allie and we hear that Adnan as well. The only one left behind was Sam who was refused entry. According to TMZ, facility officials are fully co-operating with the parents (for now) as to who is allowed near Britney. This status may change as they may need a judge to decide who can make such decisions (Brit or parents). Sam left the scene at 4:00am after exhausting all attempts to enter.

This is the same facility that treated Mariah Carey back in 2001 and it seems to have worked to we can see some light at the tunnel…

Today at 10:45pm we received a repost that Britney Spears may have tried to commit suicide!

As far as we know, Lynn (who is still in town) headed down to Brit’s house and so did Allie. Sam was on the scene and X17 reports of a possible standoff between Britney and Sam prior to the attempt.

X17 is on the scene, reporting that it is surrounded by police cars and a helicopter. The entire gated community is currently blocked and we hear that an ambulance is on its way to the scene.

UPDATE: Both Lynn and Sam had contacted X17 to announce that Britney is okay and not to worry.

It’s been a while since the last time we posted an NSFW gallery of Britney Spears. But with all the recent happenings, Brit is still trying to show who is the boss and put on a see-through shirt with nothing under it…

Britney Spears see through shots is just what the judge needs at this point to keep the custody status as it is, if we wonder who is really worse for Brit, Adnan or Sam I would argue that both. Sam is clearly with her and has clearly allowed her to go in public like this, so as her “manager” / “good friend” I would say that this see through Britney Spears set is all on him.

The LVRJ is reporting today that Britney Spears is being sued by Nancy Rosu, a local Las Vegas wardrobe consultant, over an unpaid bill dating back to August of 07.

According to the suit, filed Jan 18th, Rosu helped Britney by planning and buying wardrobes for her, however she has lost contact with Britney and has not heard back from her in 2 months (haven’t we all…).

Rosu added that, while she wished for the bill to be paid, she has no hard feelings towards Britney and that “There’s no ill will or hard feelings, I know she’s got a lot of things going on in her life.”

Dams, this is getting good by the minute. Sam is pissed that Britney’s parents are back in the picture and are trying to intervene talk sense into the girl. Sam apparently called TMZ all pissed off and said that no intervention happened last night and that Britney’s family “barged in.”

According to Lutfi “They have an agenda. Their agenda is jealously because they don’t fit in. I do. They see her three times a year.”

Sam claimed that he is okay with Britney’s mom but it is her dad that does not like him. However, according to sources, it is not true, they (and the rest of the family) are feeling like Sam is a “megalomaniac” who is motivated by “evil.”

It is still not clear whether yesterday’s events were a part of an active intervention on behalf of Brit’s family and friends, however, it is clear that a lot of emotions, tears and even anger were expressed right in front of the camera. Sam vs. Britney, Britney vs. Sam, Adnan vs. Britney, Britney vs. Adnan and how ironic is it that Britney ended the night alone with her parents whom she has not spoken to in months?
