Last week when Britney entered the top-10 in the iTunes chart many people were surprised. I wonder what they would say today as Britney secured the top spot in no less than 4 countries?

Britney Spears’ Gimme More is now at the top spot in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Pretty much all the English speaking countries on iTunes.

It is starting to look as if the VMA “slump” only did good to Britney! Could she possibly stage the whole thing? I mean it did get more media attention than any good performance would have.

Britney Spears hit up L’Occitane in Malibu, CA for some shopping. No reports of whether or not she found something.

Britney went out for some Starbucks yesterday and according to with all the mess around she needed a police deputy to clear a path for her so she can actually get inside. Personally I think that Britney looks HOT, and London (the pup) is getting huge. What do you think?

Another accident for Britney? too bad it is the new Mercedes she banged up. Cameras snapped pics of the front end of Spears’ ride while she lunched at Acapulco’s and the white Mercedes was already in need of a body shop.

Several reports enjoyed asking if this was another hit and run but personally, I don’t think Britney would do that again.

Sarah Silverman spoke to US Weekly about her “Britney Jokes” in the last VMA awards, jokes which, allegedly, upset Britney to the point where she was not able to perform. Sarah says in the upcoming issue that “The joke that everyone was upset about — me calling the kids `adorable mistakes’ — was the most innocuous joke, it never occurred to me that would be deemed hurtful or over the line.”

She also added “I don’t want to get into feuds with girls half my age. I’m in it to be funny and not for the drama. It’s embarrassing.”

Silverman had made such “upsetting” jokes in the past two public events she performed in, once Paris Hilton was the victim and the other time it was Britney.

KFed was scheduled for an in-depth interview with Larry King but canceled at the last minute. But then again, it isn’t a real “Britney” cuz she simply doesn’t show up while Kevin calls and then doesn’t show up…

As mentioned before, Britney made a pit-stop at a local Quiznos in L.A. but what we failed to mention is that she did is with the precense of an X17 photographer, that is the guy was INSIDE THE BATHROOM WITH HER!
