PEOPLE writes today that according to a Jive Records representative, Britney Spears new album is set to hit the shelves on November 13th, right for the holidays.

Britney Spears’s long-awaited comeback single, “Gimme More,” has finally arrived, and Jive records tells PEOPLE exclusively that the album is scheduled for a Nov. 13 release.

They also revealed a bit more about Britney’s new single released yesterday,

“The track that leaked is off of Britney Spears’s forthcoming album. The song is “Gimme More,” produced by Danja, [and is] written by Nathaniel “Danjahands” Hills, James Washington, Keri Hilson, Marcella Araica,” a Jive Records

When asked about the Britney-KFed stint recently, rapper 50 Cent said that he believes that Britney should have stirred clear of KFed and should have never got together with him on the first place (no shit…).

According to PR-INSIDE:

Rapper 50 CENT blames KEVIN FEDERLINE for the predicament troubled pop star BRITNEY SPEARS currently finds herself in.
The hip-hop superstar believes Spears would still be enjoying her phenomenally successful pop career if she had never met her now-former husband Federline.
And 50 Cent thinks Spears’ public downfall - including wayward behaviour such as shaving her head before a recent rehab stint - wouldn’t have taken place if Britney had avoided her dancer/rapper ex.
He says, “I think she brought too many people in. Kevin whatever his name is, who is he? She made him a star.
“She should have left his ass in the closet, then he would have stayed and everything would have been exactly the way it needed to be.”

Ne-Yo had apparently given his opinion to Ryan Seacrest on Britney’s upcoming album:

‘Her new music is definitely up-tempo. She’s got to remind people why they love her in the first place. She’s got to get their minds off her personal life and back on the music. I have no idea what’s going on with Britney Spears right now. The last thing I heard is she was mad at me over some songs that were supposed to go to her.

‘I wrote six to eight songs for Britney Spears, working really closely with her people. Then she goes and shaves her head and goes into rehab - and when that happened I lost all contact with her and the people at her label. I think it’s possible she can make a comeback. I heard a lot of the music. I definitely think she can do it.’

Ya know what? who the hell knows, but I am telling you that the next 10 days are going to be very defining in Britney’s career. A Las Vegas club opening appearance this weekend, a rumored single, a rumored MTV VMA appearance, and lastly a promise to shock the world.

One early idea that was canned?

Performing “My Prerogative” amid a medley of hits, as images of exes Justin Timberlake, 26, and Kevin Federline, 29, and other gossip fodder flashed on a screen behind her.

As for a report that she’d do a duet with Timberlake?

“Totally, patently false,” says a Timberlake source.

Is Britney Spears playing with all of us? Is it possible that she has some kind of direction after all and that she is redy to rock our world and shock everybody? If half of the rumors EW just posted are true, it is quite possible.

According to EW, the new single off Britney’s new album is due next week (this weekend?) and that it is neither one of the leaked singles which hit the Internet last week.

A source who’s heard the single says it’s called ”Gimme More,” an up-tempo club cut produced by Timbaland protégé Nate ”Danjahandz” Hills (Justin Timberlake, T.I.). ”Gimme More” was also reported as the name of the music video that Spears was spotted shooting in July. (Representatives for Jive, Spears’ label, did not return calls seeking comment.)
