A new piece on US Magazine today describes Britney’s last weekend hangout the morning after getting bald and before checking into rehab. The article describes a lonely Britney as she arrives at L.A.’s chic Mondrian hotel.

Britney was denied a room for not having a credit cars, nor cash, and therefore shaved her legs at the pool’s bathroom and then stripped down to a bra and panties poolside.

The article continues by describing how Brit made a couple of friends who lent her their bathing suits and mini-bar as she is downing more and more drinks…

Just like the inconsistencies surrounding Britney’s life of recent, this morning her site was changed again to a combination of the old tiger-Britney-tiger theme/flash and a “coming soon” title. For those of you who missed yesterday’s post, this is what the site looked like yesterday…

Anyways, TMZ’s sources at Promises rehab quote doctors at the facility who tend to think that Britney’s problems have less to do with substance abuse, and more to do with Post-Partum Depression.

Sources tell TMZ that Britney’s doctors have two operating theories — either that she suffers from post-partum depression or bipolar disorder. The doctors strongly believe post-partum is the problem.

As for substance abuse, as one source says, “No doubt about it - she likes to drink.” But doctors believe the drinking is a way Spears has coped with a bigger problem.

According to the site, Britney is currently reading Brooke Shield’s book “Down Came the Rain,” in which Shields reveals her battle with post-partum depression.

Along with Britney’s transformation down at Promises rehab facility so is her personal website. It was replaced this morning with this “vintage Britney” (ie before she went nuttz…) page with a promise for a “New Official Site Coming Soon”…

During her short stay so far at Promises rehab center, Britney had made an unlikely friend over, her (ex) roommate at Promises, Daniel Baldwin. Baldwin, who completed his treatment yesterday, spoke to US Magazine and said that Brit is “doing great.”

He said: “I told her if she needed anything or if she wanted me to bring anything to her where she’s at, I’d be happy to come see her.

“She’s doing great, she looks great. She seemed like she was a little fearful. I mean, she’s a young girl - I have kids older than her. I think that she knows that she needs some help, and God bless her. All we can do is pray. That’s what I want people to do - pray for her.”

He mentioned that he gave Britney his mobile number so she could keep in touch, and told her “don’t drink, don’t use”.

He added: “It’s really simple. One thing I mentioned to her is if you took a look at how much effort you put into going out - at least for me - and using and doing the things we do, compared to how much effort you need to put in to stay sober, it’s infinitesimal on a comparison basis.”

According to reports this morning Britney had demanded that the entire wing in which she stays will be cleared for her. This is according to the British newspaper The Sun who says “She wants all the rooms on her wing. It will cost her hundreds of thousands (of dollars).”

According to the newspaper Britney’s demands come in order to have more “privacy” at the facility…

British fashion guru, Scott Henshall, commented on Britney’s recent “makeover” calling it one of the worst fashion mistakes he’s ever witnessed. Henshall said that he was stunned that Brit dared to shear her scalp earlier this month because it makes her look like “an alien.”

He then added “What the f**k has Britney done shaving all her hair off? She’s too fat and looks like an alien.

“You can take the girl out of the trailer park but you can’t take the trailer park out of the girl. She looks like trash.”

Damn, a bit harsh, ain’t it? But then again, after these photos, you can see the trailer in her eyes…

OnNoTheyDidn’t reader reports this morning about Milwaukee’s Kiss FM morning show whose DJ (Alley) said that she knows someone that works at the first rehab center that Britney went to. According to that someone, Britney never actually checked into that facility, that she was just there taking a tour, checking it out, to see if that’s where she wanted to actually do her rehab.

Editors note: While it would make sense, it is a he-said she-said story and can be very … fishy just as much.

This is what happens when people have too much time on their hands… This person took the “rehab song” which I am not sure who sings and combined it with bits and pieces of Britneys lip-sinks from other videos.

While it is quite entertaining, I can’t imagine how long it may have taken to make…

WENN reports this weekend that while visiting Britney at her new house rehab facility over the weekend, KFed said that he will support Britney should she choose to continue recording her new album while in rehab.

A friend tells British newspaper the News Of The World, “Just a few days ago there was no love lost between the two of them, but it’s taken Britney’s breakdown to make Kevin realise that he still loves her. He’s finally treating her with a bit of care for once.
“He’s told her he’ll stand by her while she’s recovering, but he doesn’t want to put her under any pressure until she’s got her life back together. And he’s admitted he’s been having second thoughts about the split and thinks there may be hope of a reunion after she gets better.” Federline is reported to have told Spears, “I’ll stand by you if you clean up your act. I just want you to get well.”
