It’s no secret that Kevin Federline – also known as the Ex-Mr. Britney Spears – packed on the pounds recently. Considering he used to be a lean and muscular professional dancer, his weight gain was surprising.

According to this site, K-Fed says his weight gain was caused by his high-profile divorce from Britney Spears and the consequential custody battle for their children. He said that he was quite surprised the first time he saw photos of himself with the extra weight and thought they were Photoshopped; does he not have any mirrors?

He claims now that it’s thanks to his sons Sean Preston and Jayden James that he has found motivation to lose the weight. He also credits them to helping him now that they’re at an age where they want to run around and play sports because it gets him moving too.

This is all fine and dandy but I seem to recall reading – many months ago – that Kevin had been approached to be on “Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp”. Yes, he had gained a bit of weight but not as much as he did later on. It seems to me that his hardships with Britney didn’t have as much to do with his physique as the potential money to be made on a reality weight loss show did.

Which of course makes me wonder – are Kevin Federline’s boys motivating him to get active and lose weight, or is that just about the money too?

I found a great video of Britney Spears dance moves over there years to share with your for this week’s Friday Flashback.

It’s set to a song called “Lose Control” but the video’s creator really did a great job syncing up the dance moves so it actually looks like Britney is dancing to that particular song.

I love Britney anyway but it’s always been her amazing dance moves that have blown me away the most. I miss some of the insane choreography she used to have – her latest performances are still good but not quite as high-energy as the old days, so I really enjoyed watching Britney dance in this video collection.

Recently Britney Spears and Jason Trawick were seen at a recording studio in Miami. Britney appeared to have forgotten something and was peeping out the door waiting for Jason to bring it to her. She was wearing a super-short tight white minidress at the time.

I wonder what they were doing there. Is Britney working on a new album? That would be interesting! After all, Circus was very successful but the album came out over a year ago so if she wants to keep it rolling, this would be the perfect time to get started on something new!

Even though Britney Spears was not performing at the 2010 Grammy Awards she attended as a guest. It’s good to keep up on what’s going on in the music business after all. She hit the awards with her date Jason Trawick.

I have to say this. You know I love Britney. I have loved her since her very first single and rooted for her through all the mayhem. However, I can not turn a blind eye. Therefore I have to ask a question.

Britney, what the heck were you thinking when you got dressed for the Grammys?! I know that this award show is more low-key than, say, the Golden Globes or the Oscars, but that doesn’t mean completely losing your mind.

Seriously, I hate to sound like the mom that I am but it’s like Britney forgot to put her pants on before leaving home.

On the bright side, I’m still loving Britney’s brown hair (even though I may be the only one) and at least she looks happy.

But forget the “Pants on the Ground” phenomenon; let’s get pants on Britney’s behind please!

Britney Spears and Madonna! I don’t think a single person over the age of 12 is unaware of the infamous on-stage Britney and Madonna kiss which happened at the VMAs in 2007.

I don’t know if I’d call it the BEST kiss of the decade. It was certainly one of the most controversial and perhaps the most surprising, but best? I don’t know. Maybe not. What do you think?

Britney Spears was spotted getting her coffee fix in Calabasas, California today (Jan. 26). She stopped off at Starbucks to purchase what was obviously a cold coffee beverage, since she drank it with a straw.

After she bought herself a dose of caffeine, she then hit up a salon to get French tips done on her nails. Britney was wearing a mustard yellow turtleneck sweater while she ran her errands. Maybe she saw the gorgeous mustard colored dress that Diane Kruger wore to the SAG Awards the other night and realized it was soon to be a hot trend!

Britney looked really happy, she must have been having a good day!

Do you remember when Britney Spears wore this fabulous silver dress to the VMAs in 2008? It was right around the kick-off time for her comeback and the launch of her Circus album.

If you’ve ever coveted this dress – I know *I* love it! – you will get a chance to purchase it straight from Britney herself. Keep in mind though, this dress won’t go cheap. Britney’s not auctioning it off for fun, she’s doing it to help raise much-needed funds for Haiti relief.

When Britney appeared in court last Friday one of the issues she addressed was getting permission to sell the dress; she required the judge’s approval since the dress is technically part of her estate, and due to the conservatorship she wasn’t allowed to make that choice herself. I’m glad the judge said yes since this is clearly a very good cause.

It looks like Jason Trawick is really comfortable hanging out with Britney’s boys! He was spotted with Britney Spears at the park the other day with the couple playing with her two sons. This was just a day or two after seeing the four of them heading out for a movie night together.

They did a divide and conquer with Britney carrying Jayden and Jason carrying Sean. Britney looked very relaxed and happy in full on casual mode though I’ve never understood the fashion choices involved in wearing a sweater with a pair of shorts!

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick paid a visit to the Tooth Fairy with her two sons on Sunday night – not the one who leaves money under your pillow, the big screen version!

The cute couple were spotted in Los Angeles with Sean and Jayden Federline, hitting up the theater to see Dwayne Johnson’s new movie, The Tooth Fairy which features a grown man who doesn’t believe in the tooth fairy and as a result he’s “punished” by having to serve as one himself.

The idea of “The Rock” in fairy wings is hysterically funny!

I’ll bet that Britney, Jason, and the boys enjoyed their evening out!

I really love Britney Spears’ single “3″. I think it’s my favorite single that she’s released since “Piece of Me”. I found a good live remix of “3″ with the video set to live performances Britney has done.

I like the subtlety of the remix and the video that accompanies it is quite well done. The singing isn’t in time so you can tell this wasn’t what Britney was actually performing but the dancing fits very well.
